Cheeseburger Biscuit Bomb Recipe
You’re going to love how fast and easy this ground beef recipe is and your kids are going to gobble up this easy dinner. Serve with fries, a veggie, or simply by themselves and you’re sure to have a happy and full family.
1. Cook Meat
Cook bacon slices until crispy. I like to cook mine for ~5 minutes per side. Remove bacon from pan but leave about 1 tablespoon of bacon grease. This adds so much flavor to the ground beef.
Cook the ground beef until no longer pink – about 10 minutes. Add the hamburger seasoning or just salt and pepper to taste. Drain any remaining grease and return cooked ground beef to pan.
Crumble bacon into bits and mix with ground beef. Sauté for 1-2 minutes to allow flavors to mix. Remove from heat and set aside.
2. Flatten Biscuits
Open the refrigerator biscuit tube and separate each biscuit. Normally there are 8 biscuits per tube. Use your fingers or the back of a spoon to gently flatten each biscuit until it is about 1/4 inch think.
3. Assemble Cheeseburger Bombs
Next is the fun part – assembling this delicious, simple dinner idea. Layer the ground beef/bacon mixture, pickles, and shredded cheese. It really doesn’t matter what order you put these ingredients in because as it bakes, everything is going to melt together! I personally did 1 Pickle – 1 tbsp Meat Mixture – 1 tbsp Shredded Cheese. This combo created the perfect ratio of cheese and meat in this best ever biscuit bomb recipe!
4. Fold Biscuits Into Balls
Now, it’s time to close up our cheeseburger biscuits. Gently pull the side of the biscuit dough and fold toward the center. Do this around the edge of the biscuit until all the ingredients are closed inside. Each Cheeseburger Biscuit Bomb should look like a little dumpling when you are through. Place the biscuits FOLD SIDE DOWN on your baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
5. Baste
Melt 2 tablespoons of butter and mix with 1 teaspoon of garlic salt. Use a basting brush and cover the top of your biscuit bombs with the garlic butter mixture. This makes the biscuits even more tasty if you can even imagine!
6. Bake and Enjoy
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake this delicious recipe for 12-16 minutes or until the top of the biscuits are nicely browned. Remove from oven and let sit for 2-3 minutes to cool. Serve with ketchup, mustard, or ranch for dipping!
I love this easy recipe so much. Cheeseburger biscuit bombs are the perfect comfort food. This ground beef recipe is so easy to make and my kids clean their plates every single time I make these. If you’re looking for a simple dinner idea for those busy weeknights, you can’t go wrong with this yummy refrigerated biscuit recipe.
Cheeseburger biscuits also make a great after school snack. You can make a big batch ahead of time and your kids can just grab a few out of the frig when they get home from school. How perfect is that for your always hungry teenagers?!

Helpful Tips
- When cooking ground beef, I like to let my pan get hot before adding the meat. This helps brown the meat so it’s not soggy.
- I love to use Adams Burger, Fries, and More seasoning. It makes the meat taste just like a high end hamburger restaurant.
- This recipe freezes nicely! I like to make a double or triple batch and freeze the leftovers for later. When ready to eat, pull the desired number of biscuit bombs out of the freezer, let thaw and warm up in the air fryer or oven for a few minutes.
