How To Make This Easy Puzzle Game
Supplies: Large Stickers and Magnetic Tiles (that’s it!)
The set up for this matching game is easy. You need some large stickers and your magnetic tiles. I found these fun animal stickers at Walmart. Any large stickers will work, just make sure the entire sticker can fit on 2 magnetic tiles.
Grab 2 magnetic tiles. Cut the sticker in half and place each half on a tile. Have your toddler or preschoolers try to match the sticker halves together! Easy, peasy magnetic tile matching game for kids!
What Does It Teach?
You might be asking yourself this question. Not only is this sticker matching game so fun for little kids, but it actually works their little brains too!
- Problem solving
- Matching skills
- Animal recognition
- Quiet/Independent play
- Fine motor skills and more!
Take this easy to make toddler activity with you to restaurants, in the car, and really anywhere you need to keep a 2-5 year old entertained for an extended period of time. I love to take this matching game for my 3 year old to play with when her older brother has soccer practice!
Make It More Challenging
Once your kids have mastered the this easy matching game, you can always make it more challenging to keep the fun train rolling. Try finding larger stickers and using 4 or more magnetic tiles to create the puzzle. Or use your already made magnetic tile stickers and play the memory game by flipping all the pieces over (so you can’t see the stickers), then have your kids flip them over one at a time to try to find the match.
The entertainment possibilities are endless with just some stickers and magnetic tiles!
